After a demo project in parking garage Bahnhofstrasse of the City of Munster (Germany) they decided to upgrade their system, one on one, (420 lamps) with the Premium Power LED. LED lighting designed for parking garages. WBI, the parking organization of the City of Munster, is experiencing the upgrade as ‘great light output, safe and in addition huge savings’.
The first parking garage has been installed with the RentAlite Premium Power LED and will be opened in October. The second garage BremerPlatz is being installed at the moment.
The city of Münster is one of the first cities in Germany a unique scoop for durability. The car park at the Bahnhofstrasse is the greenest park in the city. In cooperation with the WBI group Stadwerke Münster has the most modern LED lighting from Rentalite.
These lights have a lifetime of 80,000 hours with savings of 65% and 85% compared to conventional fluorescent lighting, with dimming even more. Besides the energy and maintenance cost savings the Co2 savings are also huge. WBI saves per year, with the placement of 420 Premium Power LED lights, up to 35,000 euros and 170,000 kilowatts, which is 102,000 kilograms of CO2.
